The Youth Patron and Area Head of Koforidua Area of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle S. O. Asante, made this charge during Day 3-morning session of the just-ended PENSA Ghana Conference.
The Youth Patron, touching on the theme, “Maintaining the Glory of God in the Church” explained that the Glory of God reveals His character and nature. He indicated further that when the glory of God comes in a Church, the radiant moral character of God shines in that Church, and holiness, spontaneous worship, and evangelism becomes the hallmark of that Church. He, however, mentioned that for the glory of God to be manifest in the Church, the glory must first of all be seen in the individual.
Apostle Asante revealed that the maintenance of the glory of God in the Church should be the corporate responsibility every individual in the Church since the glory upon the Church can depart if not maintained.
Speaking on how to maintain the glory of God in the Church, Apostle S.O. Asante recommended the following; being grounded in the Lord, staying in holiness, a life of prayer and fasting, persistent reading and study of the word of God, regular church attendance and not sinning against the Holy Spirit.
He concluded by strongly announcing that when we cry to God He will cause His glory to come and stay.
