PENSA-ATU hosts Handover and Induction Service

PENSA Accra Technical University, PENSA-ATU’s 2024/2025 Handover and Induction Service was aesthetically held at the institution’s Auditorium on Sunday, July 13, 2025.

It was indubitably a thrilling gathering marked by reverence, renewal, and a deep sense of purpose. Under the Sermonist’s theme “Engraced and Unleashed for an Impactful Life and Ministry,” the event brought together outgoing and incoming leaders, members, and guests in a moment of reflection and commissioning for the journey ahead.

The atmosphere was charged with expectation as Apostle Dr. Edward Arko Koranteng, Director of Pentecost Hospital Madina, mounted the pulpit to deliver a spirit-inspired sermon. Taking his foundational scriptures from Titus 2:11 to 15, Ephesians 4:1 and 2:10, and Galatians 1:22 to 24, Apostle Koranteng unfolded divine truths with depth, clarity, and conviction.

The sermonist opened with a firm reminder: “Your life is already in session. The future is now. There is no time to waste.” With these words, he awakened all present to the urgency of purpose and the call to rise up as impactful vessels both in life and ministry.

Apostle Koranteng emphasized that as believers, we are not just saved by grace, we are shaped by it. The grace of God, he noted, not only saves but teaches. It teaches us to say no to ungodliness and worldly passions, while also empowering us to live lives that are upright, self-controlled, and reflective of the character of Christ.

“You will be disappointed in yourself if you keep saying no to what God is calling you into,” he remarked, charging especially the newly inducted leaders to be bold, decisive, and committed to their calling. According to him, the inability to say no to distractions and fleshly desires becomes a tragic disappointment, not just to self, but also to God, the church, and those who trust in their leadership.

Dr. Arko did not shy away from confronting the cultural leanings of this generation. “Be careful,” he warned, “that Jesus does not become your means to an end. He must be the end of your means. Your whole life is about Him, not about you.”

To the leaders, Apostle Arko Koranteng’s message was simple yet weighty: lead by example. Live what you preach. Encourage others through your lifestyle. Let your walk be as loud as your talk.

As the new executives were prayed for and inducted into office, there was a prevailing sense that God was doing more than appointing leaders, He was releasing destinies. These were not just roles to be filled but callings to be lived.

Apostle Dr. Edward Arko Koranteng summed it up with hope and confidence: “You cannot give your life to Christ and fail.” With eternity in view, grace as fuel, and Christ at the center, the new leadership is poised to make an impact that will echo through time.
