Elder Edward Asante Ntiamoah, PENSA Ghana Coordinator, warmly welcomed participants to the PENSA Intercessors Assembly 2025, held on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, at the Pentecost University Campus.
He ignited the participants’ enthusiasm and appetite for prayer by introducing the theme, “Unleashed to Stand Firm in Your Calling,” drawn from Colossians 4:12-13 and 1 Chronicles 4:9-10. He emphasized that this assembly, held at Pentecost University, had brought together PENSA members from various campuses and sectors within Accra, including the University of Ghana, Kaneshie sector, and Madina sector, while satellite centers in other regions outside of Accra connected live.
Elder Ntiamoah highlighted the indispensable role of prayer, stressing that while the assembly’s reach and impact were vast, they were ultimately anchored in faith. He urged attendees to remain steadfast in their prayers, acknowledging that true success required a spiritual foundation.
He further emphasized that the programme aligns with the Church of Pentecost’s Vision 2023-2028, ‘Possessing the Nations,’ and the Youth Ministry’s Vision 2027. The programme aims to facilitate holistic growth among young people, grounding them in Christ, equipping them to share the Gospel, and empowering them to take on leadership roles.
Elder Ntiamoah shared the programme’s achievements, noting that last year, over 3,300 students were mobilized in 37 sectors nationwide. This year, the programme has expanded to over 40 satellite centers, where participants will engage in 9 continuous hours of prayer, promising a powerful, transformative, and life-changing experience.
Concluding his address, Elder Ntiamoah urged participants to fully engage in the prayer, saying, “Dive into every activity. Your full engagement is vital. Don’t just watch, participate. Contribute your energy to the intercession mandate.” He ended with a heartfelt prayer, asking God to raise great and mighty men for His church from among them.
