Weija, July 2, 2025 – The Global Prayer and Retreat Centre in Weija was filled with fervent worship and spiritual energy as the Pentecost Young Missionaries (PYM) officially opened their 2025 “Fishers of Men Retreat” on Wednesday, July 2. Under the theme “Unleashed to Reach Out to the Lost,” Apostle Dr. Ebenezer Hagan delivered a stirring message from Luke 19:1-10, challenging attendees to embrace their divine mandate as soul-winners.
The Lost Without God Are in Grave Danger
Apostle Hagan declared that “every man without God is lost,” explaining that sin creates a deadly separation from God. Drawing from Genesis 3:23-24 and the parable of the prodigal son (Luke 15:24), he illustrated how sin turns people into spiritual wanderers, cut off from their inheritance in Christ.
“Those living in sin are lost, but God’s love is actively seeking to restore them,” he proclaimed. “Our mission is to bring them back to life through His power.”
A Rescue Mission for the Vulnerable
Citing 1 Peter 5:8 and John 10:10, Apostle Hagan warned that the lost are prey for the devil, who “comes to steal, kill, and destroy.” He referenced the demon-possessed man in Mark 5:1-13 as a stark reminder of Satan’s cruelty but assured believers of Christ’s superior power to deliver and restore.
Unleashed for Divine Assignment
The theme “Unleashed” was a call to bold, aggressive faith. “To be unleashed means breaking free from limitations and charging forward like a bullet for God’s purpose,” he said, quoting Isaiah 49:1-3. He urged believers to “take the Kingdom by force” (Matthew 11:12) through prayer, faith, and miracles.
A Charge to Action
The session ended with a rallying cry: “Go out, reach the lost, and take territory for Jesus! No matter how big the problem, Christ is the solution!”
The retreat continues with prayer sessions, workshops, and outreach activities, equipping PYM members for impactful evangelism.
