On Saturday, 12th July 2025, over 180 young missionaries of The Church of Pentecost converged at Glefe in the Dansoman Area for a one-day joint outreach session under the Pentecost Young Missionaries (PYM) initiative. The evangelistic campaign, dubbed “Glefe for Christ Jesus Crusade,” formed part of the ongoing PYM 2025 outreach and made a significant spiritual impact in the community.
Held under the theme “In Him is Life” (John 1:4), the outreach saw the young missionaries spreading across the Glefe community with the life-transforming message of Jesus Christ. Through various evangelistic approaches—including house-to-house witnessing, street preaching, and prayer engagements—the Gospel was boldly proclaimed, drawing many to the saving knowledge of Christ.
The outcome of the one-day outreach was astounding. A total of 127 souls gave their lives to Christ, with 97 of them receiving water baptism. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and spiritual fervor as the community witnessed lives being transformed and publicly declaring their faith in Jesus.
The children’s ministry team also ministered to 56 children, planting seeds of the Gospel in young hearts. Furthermore, 16 individuals experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit, signifying a deeper encounter with God and an empowerment for kingdom work.
This remarkable event underscores the power of unity in evangelism and the effectiveness of mobilizing youth for the Great Commission. The success of the “Glefe for Christ Jesus Crusade” is a clear manifestation of the church’s vision of “Possessing the Nations” through young people who are Grounded in Christ, Reaching Everyone, and Taking Over Everywhere for Jesus.
