The Blood Of Jesus Is Our Access To Every Blessing – Apostle Dr Hagan Asserts

The Director of the Youth Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr Ebenezer Hagan, has declared that the forgiveness of sins through the blood of Jesus Christ is the greatest spiritual blessing available to humanity.

Speaking on the first day of the ongoing ‘You Must Be Born Again’ crusade at Ho Technical University in the Volta Region, Apostle Dr Hagan noted that all spiritual blessings have already been granted to believers in Christ and are stored in heavenly places – accessible only through Him.

Delivering the sermon on the topic, ‘Forgiveness of Sin Through the Blood of Jesus,’ and drawing from Ephesians 1:3-7, he said: ‘Blessings are not needed in heaven. We are already blessed here on earth. God did not limit the blessings He gave us; He granted us every blessing there is. These blessings are accessible only through Jesus Christ. Without Him, our blessings are held up.’

Apostle Dr Hagan stressed that Jesus Christ is the conduit through which every believer accesses the fullness of God’s provision. He further highlighted that God’s desire for mankind is a flourishing life rooted in a loving relationship with Him.

‘We were created by God and deeply loved by Him. His love is immeasurable – so wide, so deep. The closer you walk with God, the more joyous you become. A life without God is like a mini-hell; there is no true joy without Him.’

Underscoring the significance of divine blessings, he asserted that the greatest of them all is the forgiveness of sins.

‘Sin separates us from God. It robs us of joy, fills our hearts with guilt, and drains our confidence. But through the blood of Jesus, our sins are forgiven. That blood reconciles us to God, enlists us into His family, and grants us full access to the blessings He has reserved for us,’ he explained.

Apostle Dr Hagan also warned against reducing Jesus’ mission to merely performing miracles, stressing the centrality of the cross in Christian salvation.

‘If Jesus had come and performed all kinds of miracles but hadn’t died, our salvation would not have been complete. It is the blood that makes Jesus real to us,’ he said, adding, ‘It is His death that made the difference.’

He concluded by encouraging believers to remain anchored in the love of God, describing it as the wellspring of all spiritual blessings, including healing and miracles.

‘When the love of God finds you, nothing else matters. Jesus is God’s way of salvation, and His blood is our ticket to redemption, restoration, and every blessing held for us in Christ,’ he stressed.

The ‘You Must Be Born Again’ gospel crusade is being held in collaboration with the Schools Outreach Ministry (SOM) of The Church of Pentecost. The event, which began on May 29, is expected to conclude on Sunday, June 1, 2025.

Among the dignitaries present were Apostle Dr Dela Quampah, Ho Area Head, accompanied by his wife, Comfort; Pastor Gordon Ansah, Youth Ministry National Executive Committee Secretary, and Elder Dr Seth Peasah of El-Bethel Prayer Centre.

The event is being streamed live on the official Facebook page of The Church of Pentecost, allowing a wider audience to participate.
