The most effective way to transmit the NEW LIFE in Christ is to ‘Go And Tell’ – Ps. John Viscount Arkoh affirms

The District Pastor of the Tanokrom District in the Takoradi Area, Pastor John Viscount Arkoh, has passionately charged the youth to rise and fulfill their divine mandate of soul winning, declaring that the most effective way to transmit the New Life we have received in Christ is to go and tell others about Him.

He made this call during the launch of the National Youth Week Celebration at the district level, held at the West Ridge auditorium, under the national theme, “Unleashed to Go and Tell.”

In his message, Pastor Arkoh emphasized that the Christian faith was never designed to be hidden or confined within church walls but to be expressed boldly through personal witness and evangelism. ‘The Gospel’, he said, “is to GO–Spell it out. We are not called to sit and be silent; we are called to go and tell.”

Drawing inspiration from Scripture, he reminded the youth that salvation carries a purpose — we are saved so that through us, many others may also be saved. He therefore urged every young believer to see themselves as instruments through whom the light of Christ must shine in their schools, workplaces, and communities.

Using his own youthful years as an example, Pastor Arkoh shared how his early zeal for soul winning shaped his journey in ministry and deepened his love for God. He encouraged the young people to be intentional and conscious about reaching others for Christ, noting that evangelism is not for a select few but for all who have encountered the saving grace of God.

“Every born-again believer has a testimony to share. You don’t need a microphone to preach; you only need a willing heart to go and tell someone about Jesus,” he said.

He explained that the Great Commission is not a suggestion but a command, and that the joy of every believer should be to see others come into the same experience of salvation they have received.

“The Christian life multiplies through witness. If you have truly met Christ, it should be impossible to keep quiet about Him,” he added.

Also, the man of God Pastor admonished the youth to take advantage of every opportunity—whether in conversation, service, or social interaction—to reflect the life of Christ and share the message of hope.

He concluded with a passionate appeal: “This generation needs witnesses, not just attendees. We must carry the fire of God wherever we go and let our lives become the message. The Gospel is not a secret; it is good news meant to be told.”

The event brought together young people from across the Tanokrom District marking the beginning of a week-long celebration aimed at rekindling passion for evangelism among the youth.
