Walk with God, Moment by Moment – Youth Director Advises

In a powerful session at the PENSA Ghana Leaders Retreat (PGLR24), Apostle Ebenezer Hagan, Youth Director of The Church of Pentecost, issued a clarion call for a deeper commitment to prayer. The event, held at PENSA-KNUST on Saturday, September 7, 2024, brought together PENSA leaders from various institutions across Ghana for spiritual renewal and strategic planning.

Apostle Hagan introduced the concept of the “Moment by Moment Walk with God,” challenging PENSA leaders and ministers to integrate this practice into their daily lives. This approach emphasizes continuous communication with God, encouraging leaders to cultivate a habit of frequent, spontaneous prayer throughout the day.

“In these challenging times, our strength and wisdom must come from a constant connection with God,” Apostle Hagan stated. “This ‘Moment by Moment Walk with God’ is not just a program but a lifestyle that will transform our leadership and ministry.”

Following the introduction of this concept, participants of the PENSA Ghana Leaders Retreat engaged in an intensive prayer session. The atmosphere was charged with spiritual fervor as leaders petitioned God for:

Divine grace to lead effectively

Wisdom to navigate complex challenges

Strength to persevere in their calling

Many participants felt renewed and empowered by the experience. “It’s as if God was reminding us that we are not alone in this work,” one leader commented. The “Moment by Moment Walk with God” session served as a powerful culmination of the second day of PGLR24. As the day drew to a close, leaders received prayer and ministry, with many testifying to a tangible move of the Holy Spirit.

Apostle Hagan emphasized that this practice should extend beyond the retreat. “Let this be the beginning of a new chapter in your walk with God,” he encouraged. “Carry this practice back to your campuses, your workplaces, and your daily lives.”

As PGLR24 continues, the impact of this session is expected to ripple through the coming days and beyond. PENSA leaders are equipped with strategies and plans and a deepened spiritual practice that promises to transform their personal lives and ministries.

The Church of Pentecost youth ministry continues to prioritize spiritual formation alongside practical leadership training, ensuring that the next generation of leaders is both spiritually grounded and practically equipped for the challenges ahead and ready to take over spheres of influence.
