The Youth Ministry of The Church of Pentecost has deployed 250 young missionaries into Accra for a two-week evangelism outreach as part of the 2025 edition of the Pentecost Young Missionaries (PYM) initiative. The outreach, which began on Saturday, July 5, 2025, aims to win 5,000 souls for Christ and is being held under the theme, “Unleashed to Reach Out to the Lost.”
This massive soul-winning campaign reflects the Youth Ministry’s vision emphasis: “Grounded in Christ, Reaching Everyone, and Taking Over Everywhere for Christ”—a practical expression of the Church’s overarching agenda of Possessing the Nations. The young missionaries, drawn from across the church’s administrative areas, have been strategically deployed into five key areas within Accra: La, Kasoa, Odorkor, Kaneshie, and Dansoman.
Prior to their deployment, the missionaries were camped in Accra for a three-day spiritual retreat dubbed “Fishers of Men.” The retreat served as a time of spiritual refreshing, equipping, and alignment with the heart of the Great Commission. Participants engaged in intensive prayer sessions, evangelism workshops, and teachings designed to prepare them for the spiritual demands of the field.
The highlight of the retreat was the commissioning service, where the Youth Director of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr. Ebenezer Hagan, officially released the team. In a heartfelt charge, he reminded the missionaries that they are God’s vessels sent into a ripe harvest field and urged them to go in the power of the Holy Spirit to make eternal impact.
As the young evangelists take to the streets, schools, homes, and communities of Accra, the church anticipates a powerful wave of revival and transformation. Members across the country have been called upon to offer prayer, logistical, and spiritual support as these young men and women live out the call to reach the lost and take over everywhere for Christ.
